BSD launches Business Customer Connect events across Pakistan
In order to present Mobilink’s vision and roadmap to customers, and to continue building strong and mutually beneficial relationships, Mobilink Business
has launched a series of roadshows known as ‘Business Connect’ across the country. The ‘Karachi Business Connect’, the first event in the series, took place at the Pearl Continental on the 11th and 12th of March 2014.
The event witnessed the presence of over 120 individuals including C level executives from various national and multinational firms over a span of two days. The BSD team presented Mobilink Business portfolio and gave live demos of mobile and enterprise solutions, service and business lifestyle elements.
The proceedings were kicked off by Jamal Ali Khan, Regional manager Corporate Services, who gave the welcoming note after which Fawad Ali Shah, Senior Manager B2B Marketing, explained the idea behind Mobilink Business.
Director Marketing Ehtisham Rao then took over the proceedings and indulged the audience in a highly interactive and engaging Q&A session and encouraged them to candidly share their feedback regarding Mobilink services.
It was established during the course of discussion that Mobilink services offer unparalleled control and flexibility ,
ensuring that businesses have the visibility and transparency to help them make the right decisions.
Answering a question regarding why there was a dip in the quality of service in some areas of Karachi, Mr. Ehtisham explained by saying that, “If there is a company in Pakistan that is carrying out a complete overhaul of its network sites, it’s Mobilink. This will be done by the end of June. We are replacing a 15 year old network with the state of the art Ericsson network. The difference will then be obvious.”
Answering a question regarding 3G, Director Business Services Khurram Riaz said, “In the first phase the 3G services are being launched in the urban centers only, after which they will be made available on major highways, and eventually in the rural areas.”
Shared data plans, improvement in roaming services, and M2M services were also discussed in details.
Mobilink Business Connect brought the customers into a direct one-on-one contact with Mobilink Sales and Marketing team who showcased their latest service offerings, as the guests showed a keen interest in Mobilink’s Smart Office and M2M services.
The Mobilink team was kept busy at their demo booths and in the networking sessions.
Increasing Mobilink’s digital attachment, net prompter score (NPS), and expanding business social networking was one of the major targets of the event.
