Mobilink Business Lays out Roadmap and Vision at Business Customer Connect Lahore
The second roadshow of Mobilink Business Connect took place at Royal Palm Golf and Country Club, Lahore, on the 27th and 28th of March 2014. The aim of the event was to share Mobilink’s vision and roadmap with customers in order to continue building a strong and mutually beneficial relationship.
The event had a diverse corporate and SME audience ranging from national to multinational business entities. Current and potential customers of Mobilink were present as guests, as Mobilink Business customer centric and personalized marketing approach was appreciated.
Present at the event among the senior management from Mobilink were Director Marketing Ehtisham Rao, Director Business Services Khurram Riaz and Director Enterprise Sales Nasir Bilal.
Addressing the reason for Mobilink Business, Director Marketing Ehtisham Rao said, “At Mobilink Business, we offer business-only dedicated solutions well beyond mobile services. Our tailor made solutions cut across an entire breadth of mobile
and fixed services and offer you much greater value than on offer from other consumer brands. Our foremost priority is to give you an experience deserving of a business. All our products and services offer unparalleled control and flexibility , ensuring that
you have the visibility and transparency to help you make the right decisions for your business.”
Having varying degree of needs and requirements, the existing and potential customers were particularly curious about the flexibility and spend control options provided by Mobilink, whereas M2M service providers showed willingness in partnering with Mobilink Business. Answering a question regarding controlled spend from the audience, Mr. Ehtisham added, “Mobilink gives its customers the
depth of detail in spend so that the customers can see what’s going on. For this we have very broad product and data lines, dedicated to M2M services. But I must warn you not to confuse ‘Control’ with ‘Cheap’. They are very different things.”
Multinationals including Nestle and Coke are eager to develop productivity solutions for their respective enterprises in collaboration with Mobilink. Demos of Location Based Services and Smart Office, solutions offered by Mobilink Business,
generated massive interest as the audience indulged Mobilink team members in multiple questions and queries regarding the products. As expected, the upcoming 3G launch aroused particular interest in nearly all corporate customers, as they weighed their options of how best to utilize this game-changing service. Mr. Ehtisham elaborated on the significance of 3G, stating that “because of 3G, the way you do business changes completely.”
The presentations, discussions and demos followed a networking session over lunch. The event was deemed a success as the Mobilink team extracted some valuable insights from the activity, and the customers were pleased to be approached in a direct and personalized manner. In the follow up interviews, Asma Zeeshan, ICT Manager Coca Cola said, “such events are a brilliant initiative from Mobilink and should be held on regular basis.”
The next event is scheduled for Islamabad in early April.
