Jazz Foundation recognizing the need for good health believes in educating people about basic healthcare and providing basic facilities to those who are unable to afford them.
Pakistan’s Largest Blood Donation Drive
During the year, Jazz organized Pakistan’s largest blood donation drive which resulted in collecting eleven hundred pints of blood from camps at fifteen Jazz premises across three regions, thus breaking the previous national record. Jazz also brought onboard six of the country’s leading educational institutes to run the campaign.
Jazz’s Pink Ribbon Campaign
Jazz conducted a nationwide Pinktober initiative which allowed it to raise awareness about breast cancer and promoted the significance of its early detection. In order to further this cause, the Foundation held initiatives such as, ‘Pink Illumination of the Pakistan Monument, ‘Nationwide SMS Dissemination’, ‘Co-Branded Out-of-Home Hoardings’ and ‘Awareness sessions’.
Jazz ICU – Social Security Hospital
Recognising the need for healthcare and catering to those who are unable to attain basic health facilities, Jazz Foundation set up an ICU at the Social Security hospital in Islamabad. The facility caters to more than fifty thousand registered families at the hospital, who were unable to receive post-operative ICU care previously.
